Hey everyone. Well, anyone that has been on Hot Hot Heat's myspace within the past few days will know that they will be playing at the Sunset Strip Music Festival. And guess who is going? ME! June 27 Haha, yeah, I was going to travel to LA to see Wolf Parade this summer but I totally booted my trip earlier so I could catch the boys. It'll be totally worth it. Plus, I'll probably go see Louis XIV the next night. But wow...I'm so glad they are doing a summer date. I'm going crazy to see them again! Here's the article with the Billboard announcment:

Also, Hot Hot Heat played at Cornell University this past week. From what I can tell, many people unfortunately missed them due to rain. Fuck, if I was at ANY concert, I'd stand in the rain to see a band. For Hot Hot Heat, I'd probably stand in the middle of a hurricane, lol. But I think that's the consensus of most people who visit this website.

Finally, I'd like to apologize for no new layout. While I was away, my stupid brother crashed the computer AGAIN so I lost my hard worked on layout. It was so cool. One of my favorites ever. As a result, everything for the site...layouts and more are gone before I could fix my FTP. So, I will not be making anything new for the website until I get my own computer next month. I cannot take this crap anymore!

UPDATE: HOT HOT HEAT WILL BE PLAYING IN LA ON MAY 8 (THURSDAY)
I'm just now finding out about this. It's totally free so if you live in LA, you better go! They will be playing with Serena Ryder (no clue) at The Grove.

Hey, first off, I'd like to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Luke (May 1) and Steve (May2). I actually did make a cool birthday layout for the website for you guys, but unfortunately, I am not at home so I cannot post it. It makes me sad. But I do want y'all to know I was thinking of y'all. I had good intentions, right? But anyways, Happy Birthday and I hope that now that you guys are 30 that you don't get all old on us!

First off...NEW VIDEO! Hot Hot Heat had this posted on their YouTube. I haven't see this commercial on TV so say something if you have...it's for Rimmel London.


Also, I hear Hot Hot Heat has a song on MLB 08! Yep, it's "My Best Fiend" so if you like that sort of game, I guess that's a good thing?
